About Project PARI
Project PARI was set up by the Zonta Club of Singapore in 2008 with a mission to inspire and enable young women from lower-income families to attain a positive outlook of the future and to become responsible contributors to society. The Project provides the means and opportunities for them to gain confidence and capability to realize their potential.
Project PARI is open to teenage girls of all races and religions. The project selects candidates in close collaboration with the schools based on the student’s financial background, positive attitude and willingness to learn. Since 2008, the project has helped more than 230 teenage girls from 14 secondary schools, providing them with financial assistance and learning opportunities beyond school studies, such as life skills workshops and personal enrichment activities.
Rugby will become part of the tools used to develop these girls and provide them with sporting culture.

Fund Raising for Project PARI
Objective : to raise S$100,000, in support of Project PARI for all the good works and activities it has done for the teenage girls whom the project has selected to support, financially and with learning opportunities via workshops and personal enrichment skills, beyond school studies. Project PARI now supports 100 teenage girls from 4 schools.
For SRU, this opportunity will be a perfect platform to introduce the sport to these teenage girls. It is a way to show them that sports could be their future too.
Rugby and its values will be taught to the girls to enhance their education and repertoire of skills.
