  1. Periodised Planning, Implementation & Review of National Team programs
  2. Oversee HP Staff and coordinates HP Staff meetings as required
  3. Player Selection & Talent Identification
  4. Conducts National Team Training
  5. Documentation and Dashboard Reporting
  6. Involved with SRU Coach Education (up to 2 sessions within the year)
  7. 7. Reports to Technical Director


– World Rugby Level 3 Coach accreditation (Or equivalent)

– World Rugby Level 2 Match Officiating accreditation (Or equivalent)

– World Rugby Level 1 Strength & Conditioning accreditation (Or equivalent)

– NROC registered

– SRU registered coach

– Broad base of Rugby Knowledge (Programs, Calendars, Tournaments, Logistics)

– IT & Communication Skills

– Knowledge of: GPS/AMS/Video Analysis

– Leadership Skills

– Presentation, Organizational & Reporting Skills

– Team Player

– Works well under pressure

– Preferred: Tertiary Education, World Rugby Educator accreditation

– Based in Singapore

  1. Designing, Planning, Implementation, Review of National Team programs, including documentation &
    • timely submission for:
    • National Team Calendars/Schedule
    • Training Session plans (Based on analysis)
    • Tournament Run Sheets
    • Tours & Budgets (With Team Manager)
    • Submission of National Team reports (Weekly, Monthly / Campaign)
  2. Oversee HP staff and coordinates HP staff meetings as required
    • Pre Season, In Season and Post Season
  3. Talent ID, tracking & selection of National team players
    • At tournaments or other sports
    • Database (Linked to AMS)
    • Adherence to selection protocols
  4. National Team Training
    • Ensure that National Trainings are conducted based on analysis with Player Welfare in mind
  5. Coach Education
    • Conducts Club coaching clinics for coaches 2 times per year, 2 hour blocks)
  6. Reports to Technical Director, General Manager & National Teams Commission
    • Frequency: Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly & Annual
