NATIONAL SEVENS COACH

Singapore Rugby Union is inviting expressions of interest for the position of National Sevens coach. This will be a full time fixed term appointment for the period from June 2010 until November 2010 which covers the tournament schedule for Singapore and the Asian regional calendar. The post is designed to work primarily in implementing high performance programmes with the Men’s and Women’s national squads but will also include working within the Sevens Player Pathway which is being implemented as a result of rugby’s elevation to Olympic status.

Candidates should ideally have coached or played sevens within a high performance environment and have a recognised coaching qualifications. The expectation is that the person appointed will reside in Singapore for the duration of the employment and that a successful tenure will lead to an extension of the contract for a further two years.
