A happy new year to all as we continue the second half of the SRU National Leagues.

In the Premiership, defending champions Wanderers RFC remain unbeaten and look to continue their dominance with a convincing 39-15 win over Bedok Kings RFC. With 3 wins out of 3, Wanderers RFC cemented the top spot again this weekend with SCC trailing just one point behind. The champions will face third placed Bucks RFC tomorrow and the game will be live streamed on SRU’s facebook page at 7.30pm. SCC plays Saints RFC on Saturday and it will be interesting to see if there will be any changes to the top 3 standings after this weekend.

The Championship league is turning out to be a three-horse race between SCC Tankards, Oldham Blue and Wanderers 2nd. Fourth placed Saints 2nd could also join in the party if they can grab wins against SCC Lions and Oldham Blue in their next 2 weeks. With less than 2 months left in this 10-teams league, we shall see which teams can last the gruelling fixtures.
