The Standard Chartered Tag Rugby Carnival 2014 for the Primary school was held on the 25th April 2014 at Yio Chu Kang Stadium from 3pm to 6 pm.
Tag rugby is a modified game of rugby that does not involve any contact. Both boys and girls are able to play the game.


The Standard Chartered Tag Rugby Carnival 2014 for the Primary school was held on the 25th April 2014 at Yio Chu Kang Stadium from 3pm to 6 pm.

There was a total of 227 students from 9 schools and 2 CSR program schools that participated in the carnival. Each team consist of 6 players. The field is divided into 6 pitches and each of the pitch will have a referee – coach that will guide them during the games. This carnival allows the students from different school to play against each other and experience the tournament like format.

At the end of the carnival, each school received a certificate of participation and also each students received a rugby ball key chain as a souvenir.

Singapore Rugby Union and Standard Chartered Bank would like to thank all schools, participants and coaches that help to make this event a successful one.
